OPTEX is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in two categories in the GIT Security Awards 2025. The independent jury selects products for each category, based on most innovative, best use and strongest USP.

This year, two OPTEX products have been nominated for the prestigious awards. Firstly, the REDSCAN mini-Pro sensor has been selected in the access control and intruder alarm category, selected for its innovative LiDAR intrusion detection with in-built Infrared camera for ultra-fast visual verification in both indoor and outdoor high-security environments.

Secondly, the EchoPoint series was selected for the building safety and perimeter protection category, shortlisted for its intelligent algorithms to provide point detection of +/- 6m in a range of up to 100km, as well as the ability to classify intrusion attempts.

Voting is now open and closes on 1st September 2024, with GIT Security offering everyone who casts their vote the chance to win a high quality Ledlenser torch.
